Marty Klein Exhibit at Library

"A Sense of Place" -- Easthampton artist/photographer Marty Klein will exhibit photographs and scanographs at the library from April 12 through May 17. Scanographs are produced using a flatbed scanner to capture highly detailed images of natural objects. They are then edited and processed to produce striking and original archival prints.

An artist's reception will be held on April 19 from 11 am to 12 pm.

Find It All With OneSearch

Database searching is sooo much easier! Just one click will bring you not only to all our databases, newspaper and magazine articles and downloadable e-books, you will be able to search the CWMARS card catalog, and bring up relevant website information as well. All at once!

Just click on the link "Databases/Articles" and put in your library card number. Type in what you want to research, then choose from the list of subjects... or all of them! Your results will be listed by topic and source and also individually. You can even email articles to your friends and colleagues. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

Food-Stress Relationship Rescue!

If stress-eating at day's end or during difficult times, or if the stress produced by certain foods is part of your life, sign up for certified yoga instructor Susan McNamara's program to learn specific relaxation techniques and stress decompression tips. Wear comfortable clothes and come to the Library April 1 at 6:30 p.m. prepared to change your relationship to food and stress.

Celebrate the 104th Birthday of Dr. Seuss!

Join the staff and Friends of the Edwards Public Library in Southampton when they host the third annual "Read Across America, Read-A-Thon" Saturday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Everyone is invited!

Local guest readers will include celebrities, dignitaries and neighbors who promise to enchant us with non-stop readings from local author, Dr. Seuss. Topping off the festivities will be the Seuss-A-Cake, along with party snacks, Dr. Seuss videos, and on-going arts & crafts.

In an effort to promote youth literacy, there will be a table st up where children can get their very own library card. Mark your calendar for plenty of Seuss-A-Fun!

Library Closing at 6 p.m. due to storm

The Library will close Tuesday February 12 at 6 p.m. due to the storm. Please call the library to find out when the library will re-open on Wednesday February 13.

Healthcare Advocacy Program Cancelled

The program slated for February 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the library has been cancelled. The program will be offered again in the Fall.

February Fun in the Kid's Room

Join us and bring your friends to the great programs at the Edwards Library Kid's Room

Thursday, February 7 at 4 p.m. we will celebrate Chinese New Year by making a GIANT dragon.

Thursday, February 14 at 4 p.m. is a Valentine's Day Party.

Tuesday, February 19 from 6-7 p.m. there will be a Games Night for all ages. Come and play something fun with your friends!

Wednesday, February 20 at 1 p.m. will be Vacation Craft Time. Remember to bring an old sock!

Felting Workshop for Adults
